for the past 2 weeks
anyone still there?*silence*no wonder. i mean its been a month since i blogged. finally finished with 2 freshmen orientation camps but its not the end to my duties. coming up next is union dinner and dance and adm garage sale. but anyway i like busying away for an ending. (cos i can dream about the sleep that i'm entitled to after all those late nights. lol) so hall peeps. dont dream of seeing me at hall camp. i'm dead and entitled to that one week of oversleeping after 2 camps. lol.anyway i really have to thank the adm camp, i really got to know a bunch of superb friends from the camp. from being so unattached to the school, even at times i feel as if i dont belong there, to feeling bonded and super proud of being a student there (even if i'm one of the worse students.). i really love my dear admers. uoc didnt end up as a disappointment as i expected, k grp rocks on. i mean.. slacks on! haha.. the on "self-high" group. even if we lose everything we can still irritate all the bus drivers and amuse tourists singing song in public, mostly national songs. i mean national day is coming up isnt it? lol. i have to thank the freshies. if it wasnt for them, i would have hated the camp. so thank you so much kaja! *kaja! are you ready??* we really are not bad! haha!took a short walk in school last night, cos ms sotong here was reminded she forgotten her keys to her room when she was already in jurong yesterday. had to go to the campus security to get keys to my room. (thanks danny) i love the school at night. no noisy rushing students. no announcements. no heat from the sun. no rubbish after the aunties' cleaning. lit by lights. wind in your face. no one to say you are crazy if you hop your way around alone and take deep breaths to take in the moment.then this morning i went to the market with my mum. been long since i've done that. i love the market in the morning, especially wednesday, saturday and sunday mornings when the market would be flooded with little "stores" that aunties and uncles come to set up around the market and along the shelter. today was the best, cos there was a new store that sells cds and was blasting cute energetic music that filled the air. i felt like i was in some movie scene setting. i wanted to let my hair down, dance and sing! and hug that kid who came running along smiling at me. i thought, this is singapore's backstage.how many tourist would get to see this? the typical aunties at lelong sales, uncles waiting for them with a coffee at the coffeeshop, kids running around, singlish thrown around like there was no government around saying "dont use singlish!". how can i leave singapore? how could i ever have thought it?mayb i shd have left it at the fairy tale ending..
